Washing leather shoes-will pick best answer!!!! :)?

i have a pair of leather shoes i wanna wash them, as long as i take the shoelaces out of them and put them in a mesh bag or pillowcase, will they be alright? has anyone else done this????????

What kind of shoes are they? Yes, you can wash leather sneakers for sure.I just wash on %26quot;light%26quot; load and a tiny bit of detergent. If they are dressy shoes, I wouldn%26#039;t wash in machine.I%26#039;d use %26quot;Mothers%26quot; cleaner.It%26#039;s a automobile cleaner.I used it on leather boots and loved it....always use it to clean my shoes now. Makes them nice and shiny and doesn%26#039;t hurt them.
Reply:i have done this before, but i washed them regularly in the washing machine.








i didn%26#039;t dry them in the dryer though,i left them outside in the sun to dry, because thats wear they shrink. (:
